The IKS-6728A-4GTXSFP-HV-T is a high-voltage AC model designed for large control rooms, wayside huts, marine racks, and plant networks that standardise on 110/220 VAC power feeds. It provides up to 24 Fast Ethernet access ports via IM-6700A modules and 4 Gigabit combo uplinks (RJ45/SFP) for resilient aggregation to core or NVRs. The modular bays support copper, fibre (MM/SM, SC/ST), and SFP cards, letting you tailor the switch to distance, EMI, and media needs—then reconfigure as sites evolve.
Availability is assured with Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain for rapid ring healing (<20 ms on FE) and open STP/RSTP/MSTP for multivendor loop protection. V-ON™ accelerates multicast convergence for live video SCADA. A rich security stack—IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, MAB, sticky-MAC/Port Lock, MAC ACLs, HTTPS/SSH, and SNMPv3—helps enforce endpoint and management control. Engineers benefit from VLAN (802.1Q/GVRP), quality of service (802.1p/ToS), IGMP snooping/GMRP, LACP, bandwidth shaping, RMON, LLDP, USB storage for config/firmware, and ABC-02-USB for hands-free backup.
Industrial design features a fanless IP30 chassis, DIN-depth 19-inch rackmount form factor, wide -40 to 75 °C operation, robust EMC, alarm relay, and line-swap fast recovery. Typical applications include traffic and tunnel ITS, passenger information/CCTV backbones, maritime machinery spaces, and utility rooms where AC power is preferred. Choose the modules you need today—copper for local PLCs, fibre for EMI immunity or long runs—and keep uptime high without forklift upgrades.
