The IKS-6728A-8PoE-4GTXSFP-48-T is designed for 48 VDC plants and cabinets requiring integrated power and data delivery. Alongside 24 modular FE slots and four Gigabit combo uplinks, it incorporates eight built-in PoE+ ports delivering up to 36 W each, supporting IEEE 802.3af/at devices. This makes it a natural fit for powering outdoor surveillance, rugged APs, and VoIP systems without separate injectors.
High availability is built in through Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain (<20 ms healing) and standards-based STP/RSTP/MSTP. V-ON ensures multicast recovery for CCTV and SCADA. Engineers benefit from advanced PoE functions—power scheduling, PD auto-check, and diagnostics—as well as security features such as IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, HTTPS/SSH, sticky MAC, and SNMPv3. VLAN, quality of service, IGMP snooping, GVRP, LACP, RMON, and bandwidth management provide traffic control. With ABC-02-USB and USB console, configuration, firmware, and backup are simplified.
The fanless, rackmount IP30 enclosure runs reliably from -40 to 75 °C with EMC immunity, overload protection, and an alarm relay. Ideal applications include transport shelters, rail signalling enclosures, and factory automation backbones where PoE endpoints rely on centralised 48 VDC infrastructure.
