The IKS-6728A-4GTXSFP-48-T serves industrial networks that are standardised on 48 VDC distribution. Two IM-6700A module bays allow you to configure up to 24 FE access ports (copper and/or fibre), paired with 4 Gigabit combo uplinks for resilient backhaul to the core or video storage. The hot-swappable modules let you re-balance copper/fibre without service windows, reducing lifecycle cost as plants expand.
Resiliency is anchored by Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery on FE) and interoperable STP/RSTP/MSTP. For video and process multicast, V-ON™ speeds recovery to millisecond levels. The switch is hardened with IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, MAB, sticky MAC/Port Lock, MAC ACLs, HTTPS/SSH, and SNMPv3. Engineers gain granular control via VLAN (802.1Q/GVRP), quality of service (802.1p/ToS), IGMP snooping/GMRP, LACP link aggregation, bandwidth management, RMON, and LLDP. USB storage eases backup/firmware, and ABC-02-USB enables consistent, scripted turn-ups.
Engineered for harsh sites, the fanless IP30 chassis runs from -40 to 75 °C with strong EMC performance, an alarm relay for event signalling, and line-swap fast recovery after maintenance. Typical uses include rail wayside cabinets, utility substations, oil & gas skids, and large factory cells where 48 VDC is readily available and AC may be undesirable. Add PoE modules or SFP fibre as needs change—without redesigning your rack.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
