Where DC redundancy is mandatory, the IKS-6728A-4GTXSFP-24-24-T adds dual isolated 24 VDC inputs to ensure continuous service during power rail or PSU faults. It supports up to 24 modular Fast Ethernet ports and 4 Gigabit combo uplinks, enabling robust distribution layers or aggregation to core firewalls and video servers. Choose copper for local PLCs and relays, or fibre for EMI immunity/long runs—then hot-swap modules to adapt without site downtime.
Redundancy features include Moxa Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain for rapid ring healing and open STP/RSTP/MSTP for standards-based operation. V-ON™ delivers millisecond-level multicast recovery for CCTV and HMI feeds. The security toolbox—IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, MAB, sticky MAC/Port Lock, MAC ACLs, HTTPS/SSH, SNMPv3—helps enforce least privilege and secure management. L2 traffic engineering encompasses VLAN (802.1Q/GVRP), quality of service (802.1p/ToS), IGMP snooping/GMRP, and LACP trunks. Additionally, RMON, LLDP, bandwidth caps, and USB storage facilitate streamlined monitoring and lifecycle management. ABC-02-USB supports fast, consistent provisioning in the field.
A fanless, IP30 rackmount chassis rated for -40 to 75 °C, robust EMC, an alarm relay, and line-swap fast recovery round out the industrial design. Ideal for substations, water/wastewater plants, manufacturing lines, and traffic cabinets that standardise on redundant 24 VDC, this model combines power resiliency with flexible media and advanced management.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
