Technical Support from Impulse
Our commitment doesn't end with the initial setup—we provide lifelong technical support for the entire range of Moxa products at no extra charge. Count on us to ensure that your network operates at its peak performance throughout its entire lifespan.
For installations that demand maximum power resilience on AC feeds, the IKS-6728A-4GTXSFP-HV-HV-T adds dual independent 110/220 VAC inputs. The switch accommodates up to 24 Fast Ethernet ports via IM-6700A modules and offers 4 Gigabit combo uplinks to build redundant cores or high-bandwidth distribution layers. Mix copper and fibre (MM/SM) modules to match cabinet distances and EMI constraints, and swap modules hot to avoid downtime.
Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain reinforces network continuity with sub-20 ms failover on FE rings and standards-based STP/RSTP/MSTP across multivendor plants. V-ON™ ensures millisecond-level multicast recovery for CCTV or IPTV streams. Defence-in-depth security includes IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+/RADIUS, MAB, sticky MAC/Port Lock, MAC ACLs, HTTPS/SSH, and SNMPv3 with audit-friendly logs. Operators control traffic using VLAN (802.1Q/GVRP), quality of service (802.1p/ToS), IGMP snooping/GMRP, LACP trunks, bandwidth caps, and RMON analytics; LLDP and USB storage streamline discovery and maintenance, while ABC-02-USB simplifies field replacement.
The hardened IP30 chassis is fanless and rack-ready, with an alarm relay and line-swap fast recovery, and is rated for -40 to 75 °C operation to survive outdoor cabinets and engine rooms. Ideal for rail stations, seaports, power plants, and city networks that require AC redundancy in the rack, this model bridges the gap between enterprise-style power schemes and true industrial reliability.
