The Moxa ioLogik R1210-T is the wide temperature version of the ioLogik R1210, offering the same 16 digital input RS-485 remote I/O functionality but with enhanced suitability for harsher installations. Designed for serial monitoring applications that demand dependable operation in more exposed or temperature-variable environments, the R1210-T provides a practical solution for gathering digital field signals over RS-485 using Modbus RTU. It is ideal where engineers need a compact, rugged remote I/O module that can sit closer to the process while still integrating cleanly with PLC, RTU and SCADA systems.
With 16 digital input channels, the ioLogik R1210-T is well suited to monitoring alarm contacts, cabinet tamper switches, motor status contacts, pump run feedback, safety interlocks, access points and general field sensor states. The inputs support both dry contact and wet contact (NPN or PNP) operation, which gives flexibility when connecting to mixed field devices. The module also supports DI and event counter modes, with counter frequency up to 2.5 kHz, so it can handle pulse-based signals as well as simple on/off points. This makes the R1210-T a strong choice for remote telemetry, utilities, water treatment sites, transport systems and outdoor industrial applications where temperature resilience matters just as much as communications reliability.
Like the rest of the R1200 family, the R1210-T includes dual RS-485 ports with a built-in repeater, helping support multidrop serial layouts, redundancy strategies and easier maintenance. Communication settings can be configured through software or USB, and firmware can be upgraded locally or remotely across the RS-485 network. It also supports a wide 12 to 48 VDC input range and can be mounted on DIN rail or directly to a wall, making it easy to install inside kiosks, roadside cabinets, utility panels or remote process enclosures.
The key difference for this model is its -40 to +85°C operating temperature range, which makes the ioLogik R1210-T the better choice for cold weather sites, unheated outdoor enclosures, high-temperature plant areas and other demanding environments where a standard temperature remote I/O module may not be suitable.

Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
