The Moxa ioLogik R1212-T is the wide temperature version of the ioLogik R1212, designed for projects that need both digital monitoring and digital control in more demanding environmental conditions. With 8 digital inputs and 8 software-configurable DIO channels, this model combines flexible mixed I/O capability with the practical benefits of RS-485 serial networking and Modbus RTU slave communications. It is particularly useful where engineers want to minimise enclosure space, wiring complexity and hardware count while still maintaining reliable remote I/O performance in harsher locations.
The digital input section supports dry contact and wet contact (NPN or PNP) signals and can also be used in event counter mode, which makes the module suitable for both status monitoring and pulse-based sensing. The configurable DIO section gives the R1212-T strong application flexibility, allowing the same device to handle machine interlocks, alarm feedback, indicator control, remote outputs and other field-level digital functions. The digital outputs are sink type, rated at 200 mA per channel, with pulse output support up to 5 kHz, which can be valuable in certain signalling or control tasks. This balanced I/O mix makes the R1212-T a strong fit for remote assets, transport infrastructure, utilities, water and wastewater sites, and equipment located in outdoor or unheated enclosures.
Like other models in the R1200 range, the ioLogik R1212-T features dual RS-485 ports with a built-in repeater, helping support more resilient serial topologies and easier maintenance. Configuration can be handled through software or USB, and firmware updates can be delivered locally or over the RS-485 network. A 12 to 48 VDC input range, plus DIN rail and wall mounting, makes the device easy to integrate into a wide range of industrial cabinets and field panels.
What sets the ioLogik R1212-T apart is its -40 to +85°C operating temperature range, making it the better option for remote automation nodes exposed to seasonal cold, solar heat gain, or fluctuating outdoor temperatures where a standard temperature mixed I/O module may be pushed beyond its comfort zone.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
