The Moxa ioLogik R1241 is a 4-channel analogue output RS-485 remote I/O module designed for industrial applications that need stable remote control of analogue devices over a serial network. Within the ioLogik R1200 Series, it stands apart as the model focused on generating analogue control signals rather than collecting them, making it a practical solution for sending output references from a PLC, RTU or SCADA system to field equipment. By combining Modbus RTU slave communications with compact form factor and simple wiring, the ioLogik R1241 offers an efficient way to add analogue output capability to distributed control systems.
The module provides 4 analogue output channels and supports the most common industrial output ranges: 0 to 10 VDC, 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA. It offers 12-bit converter resolution, supports a maximum voltage output of 10 mA, and in current mode can drive loads up to 400 ohms using internal power or 1000 ohms with 24 V external power. This makes the R1241 suitable for controlling a wide range of devices such as variable speed drives, valve positioners, dampers, proportional actuators and analogue signal interfaces. It is especially useful where a central controller needs to issue remote setpoints or output references without placing analogue output hardware locally inside the main cabinet.
Beyond its analogue control role, the ioLogik R1241 shares the core R1200 platform benefits that make deployment easier in the field. These include dual RS-485 ports with a built-in repeater, software and USB-based configuration, firmware updates via USB or over RS-485, a 12 to 48 VDC power input range, and support for DIN rail or wall mounting. These features make it easier to integrate into compact control panels and distributed automation nodes.
The standard ioLogik R1241 operates from -10 to +75°C, making it a strong choice for indoor industrial control cabinets and plant environments where dependable analogue output control is needed without requiring extended temperature performance.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
