The Moxa ioLogik R1240-T is the wide temperature version of the ioLogik R1240, providing 8 analogue input channels for industrial process measurement in more demanding environments. It is designed for projects where analogue signals from transmitters and sensors need to be collected reliably over RS-485 using Modbus RTU, but where the installation location may be exposed to freezing temperatures, hot outdoor cabinets or wider environmental variation than a standard control panel. This makes the R1240-T particularly attractive for infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy, water treatment and remote telemetry applications.
The module supports the analogue signal types most commonly used in industrial systems, including 0 to 10 VDC, 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA, with burn-out detection support for 4 to 20 mA loops. It uses a differential input architecture, includes a 120-ohm resistor for current input, and provides 16-bit resolution for detailed measurement capture. Sampling is specified at 12 samples per second across all channels, and when only a single channel is enabled it can also sample at 12 samples per second. The R1240-T keeps the same strong core functionality as the standard model, but its analogue accuracy specification is expanded for colder conditions, with ±0.5% FSR from -40 to 75°C, in addition to ±0.1% FSR at 25°C and ±0.3% FSR from -10 to 60°C.
From an application point of view, the ioLogik R1240-T is well suited to monitoring remote pressure transmitters, weather-exposed process instruments, utility sensors, environmental stations, outdoor tanks and distributed analogue field devices. It also includes the familiar R1200 Series platform benefits: dual RS-485 ports with a built-in repeater, software or USB setup, firmware upgrades through USB or RS-485, 12 to 48 VDC power input, and support for DIN rail or wall mounting.
The defining feature of the ioLogik R1240-T is its -40 to +85°C operating temperature range, which makes it the right choice when analogue signal acquisition needs to remain dependable in exposed, unheated or thermally challenging industrial environments.

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
