The NPort IA5150-SFP-G2-T is a 1-port wide-temperature serial device server that provides ultimate flexibility for harsh environments. It connects a single RS-232/422/485 serial device to any Ethernet network, regardless of media type or temperature.
Two key features define this model. First, its open 100Base SFP slot allows you to use any 100Base SFP transceiver (multi-mode, single-mode, or copper) to meet your exact distance and media needs. Second, its "-T" rating ensures reliability in a wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature range. It also includes one 10/100Base-T(X) RJ45 port for local access.
This combination is ideal for demanding applications like intelligent transportation, substations, or remote SCADA. Setup is fast, with 30-second Real COM configuration, and operations are secure with encrypted modes like Secure TCP Server and Reverse SSH.
Built for the toughest conditions, the IA5150-SFP-G2-T features a rugged IP30 metal housing, 12-48 VDC power inputs, and comprehensive surge protection. One-click log collection and embedded traffic monitoring make troubleshooting easy, while a relay output and email alerts provide instant notification of power or link failures.
