The NPort IA5150-S-SC-G2-T is a 1-port wide-temperature serial device server, designed to connect the most remote serial assets in the toughest conditions. It links a single RS-232/422/485 device to your network via a long-haul fibre uplink, ensuring reliability against both extreme weather and distance.
This model's "-T" rating certifies it for a wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature range. Its network interface includes one 10/100Base-T(X) RJ45 port and one 100Base-FX single-mode fibre port (SC connector). This single-mode uplink enables secure, noise-immune communication over distances of up to 40 km, making it perfect for pipelines, substations, and remote monitoring stations.
Even with its advanced capabilities, setup is fast, with a 30-second Real COM mode configuration. All communications can be secured using encrypted modes like Secure TCP Server and Reverse SSH. The server also supports high-precision nonstandard baud rates up to 921.6 kbps.
Built for maximum uptime, the IA5150-S-SC-G2-T has a rugged IP30 metal housing, 12-48 VDC power inputs, and robust surge protection. One-click log collection and embedded traffic monitoring simplify diagnostics, while a relay output and email alerts provide proactive warnings for power or link failures.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
