The PT-G510-8GTX-PHR-HV-CT is a conformal-coated managed switch designed for copper-heavy substation networks where environmental resilience is critical. With 8x copper ports and 2x SFP uplinks, it provides hybrid connectivity and seamless redundancy in fibre backbones.
Supporting PRP and HSR per IEC 62439-3, the switch enables zero-recovery-time communication. As a RedBox, it allows non-redundant IEDs to participate in fault-tolerant domains without modification. It also supports redundancy protocols such as MRP, Turbo Ring/Chain, STP, and RSTP for added flexibility.
The device integrates IEEE 1588v2 PTP synchronisation with IEC 61850-9-3 and IEEE C37.238 profiles, ensuring deterministic time alignment across critical systems. MMS/IEC 61850-90-4 and GOOSE Check functions enhance SCADA integration and diagnostics.
The conformal coating protects against corrosive gases, high humidity, and airborne contaminants, making the device suitable for challenging substation environments. Dual 110–220 VAC/VDC inputs provide redundant power, and the -40 to 75°C rating ensures dependable operation in harsh climates.
Certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, the PT-G510-8GTX-PHR-HV-CT is ideal for digital substations, smart grids, and industrial automation projects, as well as copper-fibre integration and environmental hardening.
