The PT-G510-8GTX-PHR-WV-CT combines hybrid copper-fibre connectivity with conformal coating to withstand harsh industrial environments. Featuring 8x copper ports and 2x SFP uplinks, it is engineered for substation and automation networks that demand seamless redundancy and long-term reliability.
As an IEC 61850-3 RedBox, the switch integrates non-redundant Ethernet devices into PRP/HSR networks (IEC 62439-3), enabling zero-time recovery for critical traffic. It also supports MRP, Turbo Ring/Chain, STP, and RSTP, providing a complete redundancy suite for resilient topologies.
A hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP clock with IEC 61850-9-3 and IEEE C37.238 profiles delivers sub-microsecond synchronisation. MMS/IEC 61850-90-4 support ensures SCADA compatibility, while GOOSE Check provides visibility into protection traffic.
The conformal coating defends against moisture, salt spray, dust, and corrosive gases. Dual 24/48 VDC isolated inputs ensure a redundant supply, while operation from -40 to 75°C allows deployment in exposed substation yards and control houses.
Certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, the PT-G510-8GTX-PHR-WV-CT provides a hardened solution for substations, utilities, and smart grid networks, featuring a hybrid port design and protection against harsh environmental contaminants.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
