The NPort 5610-8-DTS-J-G2-T is a wide-temperature slim 8-port RS-232 serial device server for applications that require compact serial networking in harsh operating conditions. It is designed to connect existing RS-232 devices to an Ethernet network with basic configuration, allowing serial equipment to be accessed by networked hosts and centralised management systems. Its slim form factor makes it suitable for installations where space is limited, while its -40°C to 75°C operating temperature range supports demanding industrial and remote environments.
This model includes eight RS-232 serial ports using 10-pin RJ50 connectors and two 10/100/1000M RJ45 Ethernet ports. The Ethernet interfaces support auto-sensing operation and provide built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation protection. With a compact DTS chassis measuring 210 x 95 x 25 mm without ears, the device provides multi-port serial connectivity in a low-profile enclosure that can be installed on a desktop, wall mounted or DIN-rail mounted with an optional kit.
The NPort 5610-8-DTS-J-G2-T supports common serial networking modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and Pair Connection. Secure operation modes are available for encrypted communication, helping protect serial data over private or public network infrastructure. Security functions include Secure Boot, HTTPS, SNMPv3, role-based access control, encryption support and certificate signing options.
Troubleshooting and maintenance are supported by one-click log collection and one-click application analysis, which help engineers gather information and identify communication issues more efficiently. Reliability features include a built-in watchdog timer, real-time clock and buzzer. With 12 to 48 VDC input, reverse polarity protection and metal housing, the NPort 5610-8-DTS-J-G2-T is a strong option for compact wide-temperature RS-232-to-Ethernet deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
