The MOXA NPort 6650-32-2AC-G2-T is a high-density wide-temperature secure terminal server designed for harsh industrial sites that need to network large numbers of serial devices through a single rackmount platform. With 32 ports, support for RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, a -40 to 75°C operating range, and the 2AC package variant, this model is well suited to large transport systems, utility communication hubs, outdoor industrial cabinets, remote infrastructure sites, and rugged control rooms where both scale and environmental resilience matter. It is particularly useful where device counts are too high for 8-port or 16-port models and where a standard-temperature product would not be robust enough for the location.
Its strongest differentiator is that it blends maximum serial density in this branch with wide-temperature support and 2AC deployment packaging. Compared with the 6650-32-G2-T, the main change is the dual power-cable package. Compared with the smaller 8-port and 16-port 2AC-T models, it is more suitable for centralised harsh-environment installations where many serial devices are concentrated in one enclosure. Compared with the 6610 family, it adds the flexibility of RS-422 and RS-485, making it much more adaptable in brownfield industrial networks. The model also benefits from the security architecture of the NPort 6600-G2 Series, including Secure Boot, strong HTTPS and SSH encryption, SNMPv3, central authentication support, and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification, alongside practical deployment tools such as one-click log collection and application analysis. For users who need rugged, secure, and high-port-count serial integration at the network edge, the NPort 6650-32-2AC-G2-T is one of the most capable options in the whole range.
