The MOXA NPort 6650-32-G2 is a 32-port secure RS-232/422/485 terminal server for larger-scale industrial and infrastructure deployments where many serial endpoints must be aggregated into a single rackmount platform. It is one of the most versatile high-density models in the NPort 6600-G2 family because it combines a large port count with support for RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, enabling a broader range of device types to be networked than with the RS-232-only 6610 models. This makes it particularly suitable for centralised industrial racks, transport control systems, utility communication rooms, factory retrofits, and large building or process installations where multiple serial protocols may still be in everyday use. Instead of forcing standardisation around a single legacy interface, the NPort 6650-32-G2 gives integrators a more adaptable secure terminal server platform while also improving cyber resilience with Secure Boot, TLS, SSH, SNMPv3, and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification.
For page copy, the NPort 6650-32-G2 works best as a high-density secure serial device server for RS-232/422/485 migration, industrial control, and remote serial management. It differs from the 6650-8-G2 and 6650-16-G2 by supporting a far greater number of serial devices in one chassis, which can reduce hardware sprawl and simplify control-room architecture. Compared with the 6610-32-G2, its main advantage is protocol flexibility, especially in applications using RS-485 multidrop networks or mixed serial estates. The platform includes 2 x 10/100/1000M Ethernet ports, support for Real COM, TCP/UDP modes, Reverse SSH, Secure Pair Connection, and secure redundant modes, plus RS-485 deployment aids such as software-configurable terminators and pull resistors. Supplied with 1 power cable and rated for -10 to 60°C, it is targeted at standard-temperature industrial environments rather than extreme outdoor locations. Moxa’s one-click log collection and application analysis also add practical value for maintenance teams. Overall, this is a strong choice for users who want secure, centralised, and high-port-count serial networking with the flexibility to support multiple serial standards from one rackmount unit.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
