The MOXA NPort 6650I-16-2AC-G2 is a 16-port isolated secure terminal server for projects that need a mid-range serial count, flexible support for RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, and the additional deployment convenience of the 2AC package variant. With 2 kV isolation, it is especially suitable for electrically noisy industrial networks, power-related control systems, process automation, machine communications, and infrastructure projects where robust serial communications must be maintained between equipment that may not share clean grounding conditions. The combination of 16 ports, 2 power cables, and a -10 to 60°C operating range makes it a strong fit for standard-temperature industrial cabinets and central control racks where both electrical resilience and serial flexibility are needed.
This model stands out by offering a strong middle ground between compact isolated models and larger rack-level serial aggregation. Compared with the 6650I-8-2AC-G2, it doubles the available serial connectivity. Compared with the 6650I-16-G2, it adds the 2AC package configuration. Compared with the non-isolated 6650-16-2AC-G2, the 2 kV isolation is the main differentiator. It also benefits from the full NPort 6600-G2 security and manageability toolset, including Secure Boot, TLS, SSH, SNMPv3, RADIUS, TACACS+, one-click log collection, and application analysis, all backed by IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification. For integrators and operators who need secure serial device networking in standard-temperature environments with higher electrical noise tolerance, the NPort 6650I-16-2AC-G2 is an excellent fit.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
