The Moxa PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-HV is a high-voltage managed Ethernet switch for IEC 61850-3 compliant substations and demanding automation systems. It provides 8 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 16 multi-mode SC fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, offering a versatile backbone solution for hybrid copper and fibre networks.
Operating on 110/220 VDC/VAC, this model is designed for substations with high-voltage power infrastructure. Noise Guard technology guarantees zero packet loss in environments with strong EMI interference. A built-in MMS server streamlines SCADA integration through IEC 61850-90-4, ensuring interoperability with IEDs and other automation devices.
The switch features Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (<20 ms recovery), plus standard STP, RSTP, and MSTP, ensuring uptime in critical systems. Fibre Check diagnostics provide early detection of fibre degradation. Advanced tools such as VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritisation, IGMP snooping, and trunking enhance network efficiency.
Comprehensive cybersecurity features include IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS, making the switch secure for modern substation networks. Network management is further simplified with SNMPv3, RMON, and Syslog.
Rated for -40 to 85°C operation, the PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-HV is a dependable choice for substations, rail signalling, and heavy industry requiring high-voltage compatibility and resilient fibre networking.
