The Moxa PT-7528-12MST-12TX-4GSFP-WV-WV is a robust managed Ethernet switch tailored for high-reliability substation automation. IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certified, it features 12 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 12 multi-mode fibre ST ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks for high-speed connectivity. Dual 24/48 VDC redundant inputs provide enhanced power resilience, making this model ideal for critical power infrastructure.
Engineered with substation performance in mind, the switch integrates a built-in MMS server (IEC 61850-90-4), ensuring seamless interoperability with SCADA systems. Noise Guard technology provides advanced EMC immunity, enabling zero packet loss at wire speed even in electrically harsh environments. Redundancy is maximised with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain recovery (<20 ms), alongside support for RSTP and MSTP.
Comprehensive cybersecurity is delivered via IEEE 802.1X, SNMPv3, RADIUS, and TACACS+ with secure management through HTTPS and SSH. QoS, VLANs, and IGMP snooping deliver deterministic traffic handling, ensuring that time-critical data, such as GOOSE and SMV, is prioritised. Administrators benefit from integrated diagnostic and monitoring tools, including RMON, Syslog, port mirroring, and automated alarm outputs.
Built to perform in the harshest conditions, the PT-7528-12MST-12TX-4GSFP-WV-WV operates from -40 to 85°C with a rugged fanless aluminium chassis rated IP40 for durability. It meets global standards for substation environments, providing long-term resilience against shock, vibration, and electrical interference. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
