The Moxa PT-7528-8MSC-16TX-4GSFP-HV is a high-voltage powered managed Ethernet switch optimised for IEC 61850-3 power substation networks and industrial automation. With 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode SC fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, it offers versatile connectivity for large and distributed networks. Powered by a single 110/220 VDC/VAC input, this model integrates easily into substations and high-voltage facilities.
Engineered for demanding environments, the switch uses Moxa’s Noise Guard technology to eliminate packet loss under high EMI conditions. It features a built-in MMS server supporting IEC 61850-90-4 data modelling, streamlining SCADA integration and enabling secure, standards-compliant communication with intelligent electronic devices.
Redundancy is strengthened with Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and MSTP/RSTP/STP protocols, achieving recovery times of under 20 ms. Its comprehensive cybersecurity suite includes IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, and SSH. Fibre Check delivers proactive diagnostics and fault detection on fibre links, while VLANs, quality of service, and IGMP snooping ensure predictable, prioritised traffic management.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
