The PT-7528-16MST-8TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is a dual power input substation-grade managed Ethernet switch engineered for mission-critical energy and transport networks. It provides 16 ST fiber Fast Ethernet ports, 8 copper ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks for versatile high-performance networking.
Equipped with dual redundant 110/220 VDC/VAC power modules, this model maximizes availability in environments where power stability is essential. The dual-input design allows seamless failover, making it ideal for substation automation and other safety-critical applications.
Certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, the switch offers superior EMC immunity and withstands high levels of electrical interference without packet loss. Moxa’s Noise Guard ensures wire-speed reliability, while Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain deliver <20 ms recovery. Standard redundancy protocols, such as RSTP and MSTP, provide additional resiliency.
The integrated MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 supports direct SCADA integration, while Fibre Check continuously monitors optical link health. Industrial protocols, including Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP, are supported, along with VLAN, QoS, and IGMP snooping for deterministic data delivery.
Comprehensive cybersecurity features include SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, SSH, and HTTPS. Proactive management is enabled through Syslog, RMON, LLDP, and event alarms via relay and email.
Housed in an IP40-rated aluminium chassis, the PT-7528-16MST-8TX-4GSFP-HV-HV operates reliably from -40 to 85°C, with fanless cooling and high vibration/shock tolerance.
With dual redundant HV inputs and fibre-centric design, this switch is the perfect fit for IEC 61850 networks requiring high-density fibre, Gigabit uplinks, and uncompromising reliability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
