The PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-WV-WV is an IEC 61850-3 compliant managed Ethernet switch designed for high-density substation automation networks. It integrates 4 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 20 ST fibre connections, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, offering scalable, resilient fibre backbone switching. Dual 24/48 VDC redundant power inputs provide uninterrupted availability in critical infrastructure environments.
A built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 enables streamlined SCADA integration, while Noise Guard technology ensures zero packet loss performance under severe EMI. The switch supports advanced redundancy, including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), MSTP, and RSTP for secure and resilient networking.
Security features include IEEE 802.1X port authentication, SNMPv3, TACACS+, RADIUS, and encrypted management with HTTPS and SSH. Deterministic communications are assured with QoS, VLAN, and IGMP snooping to prioritise time-sensitive GOOSE and SMV messages. Network administrators benefit from advanced diagnostic features, including RMON, Syslog, Fibre Check, and alarm relay outputs.
Encased in a rugged aluminium IP40 housing, the PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-WV-WV is designed for extreme environments, with an operating range of -40 to 85°C, plus vibration and shock resistance. Certified for IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, this fanless rackmount switch is ideally suited for substations, renewable energy grids, and transportation networks that require secure, reliable, and redundant high-density Ethernet solutions.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
