The PT-7528-24TX-WV-HV is a high-capacity managed Ethernet switch engineered for substation automation and mission-critical utility networks. Fully IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliant, it provides exceptional EMC immunity and reliable performance under the harsh electrical conditions typical of power substations.
This model features 24 Fast Ethernet copper ports and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, providing a versatile combination of access and backbone connectivity. With dual redundant power inputs — supporting both 24/48 VDC and 110/220 VDC/VAC — the switch guarantees maximum availability for critical communications, protecting against power disruptions.
Equipped with Moxa’s Noise Guard technology, the PT-7528-24TX-WV-HV ensures zero packet loss at wire speed, even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference. Redundancy technologies include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), alongside RSTP and MSTP for standards-based resilience.
Advanced features support substation applications directly, with a built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 for seamless SCADA integration. VLAN support, QoS, and IGMP snooping provide deterministic packet delivery for GOOSE and SMV traffic, while Fibre Check diagnostics, RMON, and Syslog ensure proactive monitoring and rapid fault detection.
Cybersecurity is enforced with IEEE 802.1X, SNMPv3, TACACS+, RADIUS, and encrypted HTTPS/SSH management. An IP40-rated aluminium chassis and fanless design allow operation from -40 to 85°C, with resistance to vibration and shock, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding field conditions.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
