The Moxa PT-7528-12MST-12TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is an advanced IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 Class 2 certified managed Ethernet switch tailored for substation automation and utility networks. Equipped with 12 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 12 Fast Ethernet fibre ports (ST connectors), and 4 Gigabit SFP uplink slots, it supports both backbone and access-layer requirements. Dual isolated 110/220 VDC/VAC power inputs deliver continuous operation and redundancy, making it ideal for mission-critical substations where downtime is unacceptable.
Integrated MMS server functionality, based on IEC 61850-90-4, enables direct SCADA system integration, ensuring interoperability in power automation environments. The switch also supports Moxa’s Noise Guard technology, guaranteeing wire-speed throughput without packet loss even in high-EMC conditions typical of substations. Network resilience is assured with redundancy protocols including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), alongside industry-standard RSTP and MSTP.
Comprehensive security features such as IEEE 802.1X authentication, SNMPv3, TACACS+, and RADIUS safeguard against cyber threats, while HTTPS and SSH enable encrypted configuration. QoS, VLAN support, and IGMP snooping ensure the priority delivery of time-critical packets, such as GOOSE and sampled values. Diagnostic tools, including RMON, Syslog, and automatic alarm relay outputs, allow proactive management.
Housed in a fanless aluminium IP40-rated chassis, the PT-7528-12MST-12TX-4GSFP-HV-HV withstands extreme conditions, operating reliably in -40 to 85°C environments. Its compliance with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, and substation EMC standards makes it the optimal choice for power grid modernisation, renewable energy systems, and demanding utility environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
