The Moxa PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-WV-WV is a rugged managed Ethernet switch that combines IEC 61850-3 compliance with dual DC power redundancy. It offers 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode ST fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, providing flexible configurations for large substation networks and mission-critical industrial systems. Dual 24/48 VDC power inputs maximise uptime by preventing single-supply failures.
Equipped with Noise Guard wire-speed technology, the switch eliminates packet loss under high electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for substations and heavy industry. The integrated MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 ensures seamless SCADA integration and IED interoperability. Redundancy protocols, such as Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, STP, RSTP, and MSTP, allow for recovery within 20 ms, thereby safeguarding data integrity.
Security is comprehensive, featuring IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS to prevent unauthorised access. Fibre Check diagnostics, VLAN partitioning, QoS prioritisation, and IGMP snooping enable efficient traffic management and proactive fault handling. Advanced monitoring tools like SNMPv3 and RMON provide continuous network visibility.
With a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-WV-WV is designed for the toughest conditions. It is an ideal solution for substations, transportation control, and energy automation requiring both dual DC power reliability and advanced fibre connectivity.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
