The PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is an IEC 61850-3 compliant managed Ethernet switch designed for high availability in substation automation networks. This model integrates 4 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 20 fibre ST connections, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks to deliver high-density fibre switching. Dual redundant 110/220 VDC/VAC power supplies ensure continuous operation in critical utility environments.
The switch features a built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4, enabling seamless integration with SCADA systems and power grid operations. With Moxa’s Noise Guard immunity, the unit guarantees zero packet loss under severe EMI, making it suitable for harsh substation conditions. Redundancy technologies include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (recovery <20 ms), as well as MSTP and RSTP, ensuring resilient network uptime.
Advanced security is provided with IEEE 802.1X authentication, SNMPv3, TACACS+, RADIUS, and encrypted management via HTTPS and SSH. Critical packet handling is ensured through VLAN, QoS, and IGMP snooping to prioritise GOOSE and SMV messages. Fibre Check diagnostics and extensive monitoring tools, including Syslog, RMON, and relay outputs, aid in proactive maintenance.
Built with an IP40-rated aluminium housing, the fanless PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-HV-HV operates across -40 to 85°C with vibration and shock resistance. Certified for IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, this high-density switch is tailored for substation, transport, and industrial energy environments requiring maximum resilience, secure communications, and long-term reliability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
