The PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-WV is a rackmount IEC 61850-3 compliant managed switch, engineered for substation automation and mission-critical utility communications. It is equipped with 4 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 20 ST fibre connections, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks to support a variety of network topologies. Powered by a 24/48 VDC input, it ensures compatibility with standard substation power infrastructures.
With a built-in MMS server conforming to IEC 61850-90-4, the switch offers seamless integration with SCADA systems, supporting efficient device monitoring and control. Enhanced by Noise Guard™ technology, the unit achieves zero packet loss even under high EMI conditions. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy technologies deliver recovery in under 20 ms, while MSTP and RSTP provide standards-based protection for large-scale networks.
The PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-WV also integrates advanced security, including IEEE 802.1X access control, RADIUS, TACACS+, SNMPv3, and encrypted HTTPS/SSH management. Traffic determinism is supported through VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritisation, and IGMP snooping, ensuring reliable GOOSE and SMV packet delivery for power applications.
Its rugged aluminium IP40 chassis is designed for operation between -40°C and 85°C, with vibration and shock resistance for extreme environments. Compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, the PT-7528-20MST-4TX-4GSFP-WV is ideal for power substations, renewable energy, and railway signalling, delivering high-capacity fibre switching with uncompromising reliability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
