The Moxa PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is a dual high-voltage input managed Ethernet switch designed for substation automation and mission-critical networks. With 8 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 16 multi-mode SC fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, it provides a robust, fibre-heavy backbone for power utilities and industrial automation.
Certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards, this switch withstands EMI-rich environments typical of substations. Noise Guard technology eliminates packet loss, while its built-in MMS server enables IEC 61850-90-4-based SCADA integration.
The switch delivers high reliability through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), alongside STP, RSTP, and MSTP. Fibre Check ensures proactive monitoring of fibre health, reducing service disruptions. Operators also benefit from VLAN support, QoS, IGMP snooping, and bandwidth trunking for efficient traffic handling.
Security is a core feature, with TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, HTTPS, and IEEE 802.1X authentication ensuring robust access control. SNMPv3, RMON, and Syslog allow centralised management and monitoring.
With a wide operating temperature of -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is built for reliability in the toughest substation and industrial environments. Dual HV inputs ensure continuous uptime, making it an ideal solution for power distribution and transport infrastructure requiring uncompromising availability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
