The Moxa PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-WV is a ruggedised managed Ethernet switch engineered for mission-critical substation and industrial networks. Equipped with eight copper Fast Ethernet ports, 16 multi-mode SC fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, it delivers a fibre-rich design ideal for long-distance connections in substations and process automation.
Compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, this switch ensures reliable operation in environments with high EMI and harsh conditions. Noise Guard technology guarantees zero packet loss at wire speed, while the built-in MMS server supports IEC 61850-90-4 SCADA data modelling for seamless integration with power automation systems.
Redundancy is assured with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain failover under 20 ms, alongside industry-standard STP, RSTP, and MSTP. Fibre Check enables proactive monitoring of fibre health, reducing unexpected downtime. Network performance is enhanced with VLANs, quality of service, IGMP snooping, and port trunking for efficient traffic management.
Advanced security features include IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS, safeguarding access across critical infrastructure. SNMPv3, RMON, and Syslog enable centralised monitoring and predictive maintenance.
Operating reliably from -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-16MSC-8TX-4GSFP-WV is designed for substation automation, heavy industry, and transport applications, offering reliable fibre connectivity and DC power support.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
