The Moxa PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-HV is a managed Ethernet switch designed for high-voltage installations in power substations and industrial environments. With 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode ST fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, it offers flexible configurations for large-scale and distributed networks. Its 110/220 VDC/VAC input makes it ideal for facilities where high-voltage power is the standard.
This model integrates Moxa’s Noise Guard technology, delivering wire-speed forwarding without packet loss in harsh EMI conditions. It also supports a built-in MMS server, fully compliant with IEC 61850-90-4, enabling smooth integration with SCADA systems and reliable data exchange with IEDs.
Redundancy is enhanced by Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain proprietary technologies, as well as industry standards such as STP, RSTP, and MSTP, ensuring recovery within 20 ms. Security features include IEEE 802.1X port-based access control, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS for robust cybersecurity. Fibre Check diagnostics allow continuous monitoring of fibre links, while VLAN, QoS, and IGMP snooping streamline and optimise traffic handling.
Built to withstand extremes, the PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-HV operates from -40 to 85°C and complies with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Our customer is a tier one system integrator in the substation automation market with many of the worlds TSOs and DSOs listed as their clients. They required a number of custom designed rack-mount LCDsfor use in their HV substation projects.
