The Moxa PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is a dual high-voltage input managed Ethernet switch tailored for IEC 61850-3 substation and industrial networks. With 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode ST fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, it combines high port density with resilient power redundancy for critical operations. Dual 110/220 VDC/VAC inputs safeguard against single power source failures, ensuring maximum uptime.
Its Noise Guard technology guarantees zero packet loss under high EMI conditions, maintaining reliable data transmission. A built-in MMS server, based on IEC 61850-90-4, simplifies SCADA integration and supports efficient communication with intelligent electronic devices.
For fault-tolerant networking, the switch leverages Moxa’s Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain with sub-20 ms recovery, alongside industry standards STP, RSTP, and MSTP. Security is reinforced with IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS protocols. Fibre Check diagnostics, VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritisation, and IGMP snooping provide efficient traffic control and early fault detection.
Designed for rugged environments, the PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-HV-HV is rated for -40 to 85°C and fully compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. Its dual HV power resilience, hardened cybersecurity, and flexible fibre connectivity make it an ideal backbone switch for substations, railway control, and industrial automation requiring uncompromised reliability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

The requirement of the project was to help design and integrate a computer and touchscreen LCD display solution for use in a car showroom kiosk environment, to help our client provide a more modern and interactive customer showroom experience, and to reduce financial overheads.
