The Moxa PT-7528-12MSC-12TX-4GSFP-WV is a rugged, managed Ethernet switch designed for use in power substations and other demanding industrial applications. It delivers 12 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 12 Fast Ethernet multi-mode SC fibre ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, providing balanced copper and fibre connectivity for flexible network design. Powered by a 24/48 VDC input, this switch is well-suited to substation environments with DC-based infrastructures.
The PT-7528-12MSC-12TX-4GSFP-WV is fully IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliant, ensuring reliable operation in high EMI conditions. Noise Guard technology guarantees zero packet loss at wire speed, while the integrated MMS server simplifies SCADA integration through IEC 61850-90-4 data modelling.
For redundancy, the switch supports Moxa’s Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain with recovery under 20 ms, as well as standard STP, RSTP, and MSTP. Fibre Check enables proactive monitoring of fibre health, reducing downtime. Advanced traffic control tools, including VLAN segmentation, quality of service prioritisation, and IGMP snooping, optimise network performance in critical systems.
With comprehensive cybersecurity features, including IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS, operators can enforce strict access control. SNMPv3 and RMON allow efficient centralised monitoring, making the switch a reliable backbone device for substations, transport signalling, and industrial automation.
Operating across -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-12MSC-12TX-4GSFP-WV delivers resilience, power redundancy, and fibre connectivity tailored to critical infrastructure networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
