The Moxa PT-7528-8MSC-16TX-4GSFP-WV is an IEC 61850-3 compliant managed rackmount Ethernet switch designed to combine copper and fibre connectivity for substation and industrial networks. With 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode fibre SC ports, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, this switch offers extensive port density and flexibility for large-scale deployments. Powered by a redundant 24/48 VDC input, it delivers reliable operation in demanding environments.
Noise Guard™ technology ensures zero packet loss at wire speed, even under strong electromagnetic interference, making it well-suited for substation automation. The built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 streamlines integration with SCADA systems and facilitates interoperability with IEDs.
The switch supports advanced redundancy features, including Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and STP/RSTP/MSTP, ensuring recovery times under 20 ms. Security capabilities are equally robust, with IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, SSH, and HTTPS safeguarding critical communications. VLAN, QoS, and IGMP snooping enable traffic prioritisation and efficient bandwidth use, while Fibre Check offers proactive monitoring and diagnostics of fibre links.
Operating in temperatures from -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-8MSC-16TX-4GSFP-WV is designed for deployment in harsh outdoor substations, transport networks, and industrial automation projects. RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
