The Moxa PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-WV is a high-reliability Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch built for IEC 61850-3 power substation and industrial environments. It provides 16 Fast Ethernet copper ports, 8 Fast Ethernet multi-mode fibre ST connectors, and 4 Gigabit SFP uplinks, ensuring flexible and scalable network backbones. Designed with a 24/48 VDC input, this model integrates seamlessly into substation control systems and critical infrastructure projects.
Using Moxa’s Noise Guard technology, the switch achieves zero packet loss at wire speed even in high-EMI conditions. It features a built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4, simplifying SCADA integration and enhancing interoperability with IEDs. With Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain technologies plus industry-standard STP, RSTP, and MSTP, the PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-WV delivers recovery times under 20 ms, maintaining uninterrupted communications.
Cybersecurity is robust with IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSH, and HTTPS ,ensuring secure access control. Fibre Check allows continuous fibre diagnostics, while VLANs, QoS, and IGMP snooping optimise network performance. Operators benefit from redundancy, traffic segmentation, and proactive monitoring through SNMPv3 and RMON.
Rated for operation from -40 to 85°C, the PT-7528-8MST-16TX-4GSFP-WV is ideal for substations, transport signalling, and automation systems. It combines flexible fibre connectivity, strong redundancy, and hardened performance in a compact rackmount design.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
